The western side of the Park is characterized by wonderful meandering meadow streams chocked full of colorful Brook & Brown trout. If you only have one day to fish, consider fishing the beginning of the mighty Colorado River, which is a meager meadow stream in the Park. If you are fit, try the higher elevation mountain lakes which contain larger cutthroat trout.
