The use of lead split-shot is strongly discouraged

Know the rules & regulations

Be courteous, give every angler plenty of room to fish; there’s plenty of water in the Park for everyone!  On streams, if you can see each other, then your probably too close.  On Lakes, provide at least 10 yards of space between each angler.

Practice Catch-n-Release whenever possible; but don’t shy away from harvesting a few fish (Brook Trout especially) from time-to-time

Clean all angling equipment prior to and after fishing in the Park. Download instructions on how to disinfect gear.

While not a regulation, avoiding actively spawning fish ensures future generations of fish to catch

Help keep the Park beautiful: pick up someone else’s trash and pack it out

Teach future generations how to fish ethically
